INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Health announced that COVID-19 has been diagnosed with 1495 more Hoosiers residents through testing at the state lab, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and personal laboratories, bringing to 122,640 the total number of indiana citizens known to have the new coronavirus as a result of corrections made on the previous day’s panel.
A total of 3,429 Hoosiers are shown to have died from COVID-19, an increase of thirteen since the previous day. Another 227 likely deaths based on clinical diagnoses have been reported in patients for which no positive monitoring is recorded. Deaths are reported based on when knowledge is gained across the state and occurs for days.
To date, 1,398,522 Americans have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,387,731 on Thursday. A total of 2114835 tests, coupled with repeated tests for single Americans, have been reported to the State Ministry of Health since February 26.
Bartholomew County reported 1,220 tests (up to 11) with 57 (unchanged) deaths on Friday.
