Status: 1164 hoosiers most diagnosed with COVID-19

A total of 3047 Hoosiers were shown to have died as a result of COVID-19, an accumulation of six from the previous day. An additional 219 likely deaths in clinical diagnoses were reported in patients for which no positive tests were recorded. Deaths are reported when knowledge is obtained through IGH and occurs over several days.

To date, IHSHR has been informed of 1,034,746 singles tests, up from 1,022,537 on Wednesday.

Bartholomew County reported 1,036 tests (up to 11) with 54 deaths (up to two).

The surrounding counties reported:

Jackson County: 681 cases (up to six) with 8 deaths (up to one).

Jennings County: 261 cases with 12 deaths (unchanged).

Decatur County: 389 cases (up to nine) with 34 deaths (up to one).

Shelby County: 609 cases with 28 deaths (unchanged).

Johnson County: 1990 instances (up to 26) with 120 deaths (unchanged).

Brown County: 86 cases (up to two) with two deaths (unchanged).

To date, only about 36% of intensive care beds and more than 83% of fans should be available in the state.
