Federal fitness officials should ensure that states are in a position for the day a COVID-19 vaccine is available.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday sent an interim report to the 50-page COVID-19 immunization program to state leaders.
At Wednesday’s COVID-19 briefing on Gov. Mike Parson, he said Missouri is in a position to make plans, as a team, and in a position to finalize the plan to make sure it’s in a position when a vaccine is available.

Phase two is designed to make more vaccine doses available.
In making Phase Two plans, the CDC recommends that states prepare to expand vaccines to the general public and supplies such as pharmacies, medical offices, and public fitness facilities.
Phase 3 of excessive dose supplies, making sure the vaccine reaches the entire population.
