Union Berlin will be with fans
The Berlin government plans Union Berlin to host the club’s friendly match opposite Nuremberg with up to 5,000 enthusiasts present. The exhibition, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its stadium, will take place on September 5.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is about 74 miles north of Kenosha, where Blake fired several times through a police officer when he was put in his car.
Players were divided over whether the playoffs, already delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, conclude, according to several reports in the United States. The Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers voted to end the season in a moving three-hour assembly Wednesday between players and coaches: superstar Lebron James was reported to have broken in.
Donald Trump criticizes boycotts

“They like a political organization, and that’s not a smart thing to do,” Trump said.

NHL postpones playoff games
The National Hockey League postponed two playoff games on Thursday amid complaints and a slow reaction to the national boycott of events.
While NBA and WNBA games, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer, as a WTA tennis tournament, were canceled Wednesday, NHL games went ahead as planned.
The hockey league has been criticized through its black players for taking too long in Jacob Blake’s police shooting in Wisconsin. But the NHL has now reached an agreement with the arrangement of its players to postpone the games on Thursday and Friday.
“Strongly, this sends a transparent message that human rights take precedence over sport,” the NHL said in a statement.

American basketball, baseball, soccer and tennis players interrupted their competitions Wednesday night to protest a police shooting in Wisconsin this weekend.
The protest began when the Milwaukee Bucks, in a position to play the fifth game of their NBA first-round playoff series opposed to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday afternoon, refused to faint on the ground. The boycott came when Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old black man, was shot dead through police on Sunday, recovering from his injuries at a Milwaukee hospital.
The other two NBA playoff games scheduled for Wednesday were also postponed, as were five MLS football games, 3 MLB baseball games and three WNBA basketball games. The Western and Southern Open tennis tournament was also suspended after 2018 US Open winner Naomi Osaka refused to play her semi-final match.
Ajax’s Blind ‘feels good’ despite health concern
Daley Blind stays underneath after his implanted defibrillator (ICD) sounded an alarm during a friendly attack with Hertha Berlin. Blind fell to the ground in the 80th minute without the intervention of a rival but was able to leave the area unaided.
“The central defense feels good, given the circumstances,” Ajax said in a statement. “You will go through additional tests and wait for the effects of those tests before returning to training.”
Ceferin says the cap is ‘interesting’, Super Cup fans
UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin believes that if there are still disruptions to be resolved, some form of wage cap in football could soon become a reality. “There are some attractive concepts, but we want time to talk and analyze its viability before offering more details,” He told German publication Bild.
Ceferin’s words come a day after UEFA announced that the Super Cup match between Bayern Munich and Seville later this month will be played in front of the spectators.
