The Canary Islands have been flooded with Britons in recent days after the islands were added to the UK’s list of salons. The islands were abolished this year with the Balearic Islands and mainland Spain after an increase in COVID-19 cases. However, last week, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps announced that the Canary Islands would be back on the list of rooms, just in time for the mid-session and winter holidays in the sun.
Currently, travellers entering Spain from the UK must be isolated.
However, travelers must provide the Spanish Ministry of Health with tactile data and a history of exposure to coronavirus 48 hours before the trip.
Passengers travelling to Spain must complete and indicate the online form related to the trip, regardless of their nationality or place of residence, this is mandatory.
Travelers will get a QR code to show at the airport.

Visitors will also go through temperature control and a visual assessment of fitness.
However, the British may soon be required to undergo coronavirus testing on their scale in the Canary Islands.
Travelers may be required to undergo COVID-19 screening at hotel receptions when visiting the islands.
The new plans would mean that the British would be tested at airports and hotel receptions.

Testing will be mandatory and anyone who tests positive will be quarantined for 14 days in specially designed hotels on the islands.
Tourism is reportedly ready to introduce COVID tests as soon as possible.
They hope that if such tests are implemented, European countries are more likely to introduce corridors with islands.
Since the Canary Islands were reinstated on the UK’s safe products list, airlines and sites have seen a resurgence of interest.
Holiday exclusivity recorded a 36% increase in searches in the Canary Islands.
easyJet and easyJet Holidays have noticed a 500% increase in day-to-day searches on their two websites.
Since then, the airline has added more seats from London Gatwick and Manchester to Tenerife and Lanzarote until mid-October.
Meanwhile, Vacaciones-Espana. es, the third largest holiday rental in Spain, recorded a 41. 3% increase in holiday home searches in the Canary Islands.
The Canary Islands, which come with Lanzarote, Tenerife and Gran Canaria, largely feature sunny winter tourism.
