MADRID – All Spanish regions agreed to order the closure of nightclubs and ban smoking in outdoor spaces when it is more unlikely to be kept at a distance, among other measures aimed at reducing the accumulation of coronavirus infections, health minister Salvador Illa said Friday.
Illa also opposed the meetings of more than ten others and, in particular, warned young people not to gather outdoors to drink alcohol.
Infections have increased in recent days, bringing Thursday’s total to 337,334 since the start of the pandemic. (Report through Inti Landauro edited through Binnie Island)
