MADRID – Spain will get 31. 6 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine that is developing lately through british pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca between December and June if ready, Health Minister Salvador Illa said Tuesday.
Providing the vaccine is a component of an EU program, Illa said at a press conference after the weekly closet meeting.
Illa also said restrictive measures will be imposed in Madrid to involve an outbreak of coronavirus infections for 3 weeks after the region’s state of emergency expires on October 23 (Report via Nathan Allen and Inti Landauro, edited through Andrei Khalip).
