MADRID – The cumulative number of coronavirus infections in Spain increased to 37,889 over the weekend, bringing the national total to 974,449, according to the knowledge of the ministry of fitness on Monday.
The total number of deaths from the virus increased from 217 to 33,992, according to the ministry.
In recent weeks, Spain has reported more than 12,000 cases a day after reaching a record of more than 16,000 in mid-September (report via Nathan Allen, edited through Andrei Khalip).
