MADRID – Spain has diagnosed 3,349 new coronavirus infections in more than 24 hours, according to the knowledge of the Ministry of Fitness on Thursday, with 3,715 reported the previous day, bringing the cumulative total to 370867.
The ministry said 122 other people had died of coronavirus in the last seven days. The death toll in seven days reported On Wednesday 131.
The number of deaths recorded has increased, particularly since the country emerged from a three-month blockade at the end of June, but is well below the levels seen at the peak of the epidemic at the end of March, when the daily death toll reaches 1,000 people.
While infections have slowed since Friday’s post-lockout record of 7,609, Thursday’s decline may not be a trend, as similar declines have been followed through additional spikes in recent weeks. These figures can also be replaced in the long term, as official statistics are updated retroactively. (Report through Inti Landauro and Nathan Allen, edited through Andrei Khalip)
