MINSK, Oct 24 (BelTA) – Belarusian farms are completing winter cereal planting, BelTA said from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Belarusian agricultural enterprises harvested cereals and pulses (including maize) on 2275 million hectares, or 93. 2% of the target area. Progress 97% (387 000 ha) in Brest Oblast, 98. 9% (354 600 ha) in Vitebsk Oblast, 92. 5% (370 100 ha) in Gomel Oblast, 93. 5% (331,700 ha) in Grodno Oblast, 90. 2% (486,000 ha) in Minsk Oblast and 88. 8% (346,200 ha) in Mogilev. Au Oblast Overall, 8. 762 billion tons of grain were threshed by agriculture, enterprises and personal farms.
Grain corn harvested in a domain of 107,300 ha (39. 4%), generating 750,800 tons with an average yield of 70 cents per hectare.
Sugar beet was harvested on 60 200 ha, representing 64. 5% of the target domain. Potatoes were cleared on a 24,100-hectare domain, or 92. 6% of the plan. Other vegetables were harvested on 4 480 ha, or 66. 6% of the target domain.
Belarusian farm cleared 817,300 hectares of land with corn for silage and green fodder, or 85. 2% of the plan.
The Belarusian farm planted winter cereals for cereals on 1. 459 million hectares, or 95. 2% of the plan.
