South Korea to End Pre-Departure COVID Rule for Arrivals

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea will allow travelers to enter the country on Saturday without having to conduct pre-departure checks to detect COVID-19, they will still have to perform a PCR check within 24 hours of arrival.

The most recent rest of the regulations come amid a remnant of the number of cases. Daily COVID infections in recent weeks have hovered around 100,000, up from more than 180,000 in mid-August.
