MANILA, Philippines – A sorsogon legislator and two workers are the newest to contract coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the House of Representatives, Secretary General Luis José Luis Montales said Sunday.
Montales stated that one of the house’s angry workers was from the Department of Finance while the other belonged to the Franchise Legislative Committee.
“We won a word that Congw. Ditas Ramos (2nd District, Sorsogon) tested positive for COVID-19. She developed symptoms and gave evidence in the province,” Montales said in a statement.
“Let us pray for the recovery and full recovery of our cases shown,” he added.
According to Montales, the first of the two newly inflamed painters last introduced himself to painting on September 1 and the disease while concerned about his son, who also had COVID-19. The other painter last visited the House of Representatives on August 10.
