Rojas worked in music in Houston and went through the so-called “El Pikante,” according to reports.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the Embassy of the Dominican Republic for comment.
Rojas, a 29-year-old victim, and two other men were leaving a gas station in the 2400 block of South Wayside Drive around 7:25 p. m. And they put me in a black van.
At the same time, a Dodge Charger and a Mercedes-Benz approached the van. Two men were pulled from the Dodger and one from the Mercedes.
The three opened fire on the van and fled the scene, police said.
Rojas was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

I sincerely thank my friends and colleagues for their solidarity at this difficult time. “
Detectives released surveillance footage of the three wanted suspects.
Two of them are seen with what appear to be firearms.
