Soldiers’ pharmacy robbery

Delaware State Police are investigating the theft of a Walgreens in New Castle that occurred last night.

The incident occurred on May 11, 2023, at approximately 8:26 p. m. The suspects entered the store and separated. A suspect was tracking consumers while at the time the suspect approached two workers at the sales counter while pointing at a gun and asking for keys to the safe. The suspect escorted the workers to a rear workplace and the workers obeyed. After getting money from the safe, the suspect escorted workers to the cash registers and received more money. The suspects fled the scene on foot toward Pennsylvania Avenue with an undisclosed sum of money.

Employees were injured as a result of the incident.

The first suspect described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 5’8″-5’9″, tall, tall, dressed in light-colored clothing.

The moment the suspect described him as an unknown man approximately 6’3″-6’4″ tall, all dressed in dark clothing.

Lately there are no photos of the suspects available at this time.
