U. S. scientists were making plans to engineer viruses with the same unique characteristics of Covid, explosive documents reveal.
Updates of emails, memos and investment requests have been called “irrefutable evidence” in the ongoing investigation into the origins of Covid.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology has been in the middle of the lab-leak theory since Covid first gave the impression just steps away from the facility, which is known to examine very similar bat viruses.
Scientists claim that Covid was “exquisitely matched”, “completely pre-adapted” and “supercharged” for humans when it first emerged in Wuhan in 2019.
Some recommend that it was manipulated and optimized in the so-called Frankenvirus experiments in the Wuhan lab.
For years, Shi Zhengli – dubbed “batwoman” – manipulated viruses and inserted spike protein genes into coronaviruses to make them more infectious in humans, experts claim.
And for many scientists, the answers to the origins of Covid lie in the virus’s unique genome.
Scientists point out that Covid has characteristics that recommend a laboratory origin.
Now, new documents, received through the U. S. Right to Know, have been released in the U. S. Researchers from the U. S. show how the Covid genome matches the viruses described in a proposal by U. S. scientists.
The 2018 proposal, called DEFUSE (how American scientists implemented the investment to engineer coronaviruses in China), just a year before the pandemic.
It is powered by EcoHealth Alliance, the U. S. -based company. The U. S. government has been criticized for its taxpayer-funded coronavirus experiments in China.
New documents now reveal how American scientists planned to create a virus with a similar genetic makeup to Covid.
U. S. scientists have proposed assembling SARS-related genomes into six pieces to create a new virus.
And one of the unique features of Covid is the fact that it is divided into six parts.
The scientists said the likelihood of six evenly spaced segments appearing in a naturally occurring virus is highly unlikely.
Another feature of Covid is that the six pieces are separated by enzymes called Bsal and BsmBI.
And orders for one of the enzymes, BsmBI, can be found in the newly released documents from the research proposal.
Professor Richard Ebright, a biosafety expert, said: “A command line for BsmBI in a 2018 EcoHealth proposal is the irrefutable proof.
“There is no – zero – remaining room for reasonable doubt that EcoHealth and its associates caused the pandemic.
“The match between the evidence provided by the genome sequence and the evidence provided by the FOIA release is remarkable.
“This elevates the evidence across the genome sequence from the point of ‘remarkable’ to the point of ‘smokeproof. ‘
“EcoSalud’s 2018 proposal included step-by-step plans for the structure of a virus with the series and households of the virus that emerged a year later in Wuhan: SARS-CoV-2. “
Valentin Bruttel, a molecular immunologist at the University of Würzburg, says: “Exactly as we had postulated, they planned to use six segments to attach the viruses. “
U. S. Right to Know said that some of the same enzyme sites discovered in Covid have been discovered in viruses of a very similar nature, possibly simply coming from recombination and not engineering.
The correspondence between the evidence through the genome sequence and the evidence through the FOIA publication is remarkable
Elsewhere in the documents, new call notes show that the scientists were looking to use a fragment in their viruses that would bind well to human cells.
This may explain why the virus was “ready to infect” humans.
The grant proposal was ultimately rejected by the U. S. government, but it’s unclear whether the engineering experiments were carried out despite other funding.
The most recent set of explosive documents (received freedom of information requests) climbs into a developing pile of evidence pointing to a lab leak as the source of the Covid pandemic.
The genetic makeup of Covid has baffled scientists.
Scientists previously found the genetic code for what is known as a “furin cleavage site”.
Virologists are not yet aware of other similar coronaviruses.
Professor Richard Ebright said it was “remarkable” because it had never been noticed in coronaviruses before.
And it happens in the very place where scientists genetically modify viruses to make them more infectious to humans.
In other words, a “furin cleavage site” boosts the ability of a virus to jump between species, and can make it more transmissible within a species.
Investigative journalist Sharri Markson’s e-book What Really Happened in Wuhan laid out a wealth of evidence indicating that Covid could have been “genetically modified” in Wuhan.
“Their exclusive homes speak volumes about their most likely origins, as scientists, researchers and intelligence analysts seek to elucidate the timing of their creation,” he said.
“This incredibly devastating virus is unlike any other; it shares homes with its SARS cousins. From its character and behavior, it gives the impression that it is specially designed to infect humans.
“It acts as if it is designed for human slaughter, almost unstoppable in its ability to devastate the human respiratory system.
“The millions dead all over the world attest to that.”
The virus’s spike protein may have been better engineered to adapt to humans.
Nikolai Petrovsky, one of the scientists behind the development of the Covid vaccine, told Markson: “The issue is that the Covid-19 has a furin cleavage site whereas neither the bat virus that is its closest relative nor SARS have it.
“The question then becomes: where does Covid-19 get its furin cleavage site from?
Petrovsky said all the findings pointed to a human-caused virus; However, the evidence was considered “political dynamite” and clinical journals refused to publish articles on the clues.
“The spike protein of the virus couldn’t have been better designed to adapt to humans,” he said.
“The SARS-Cov-2 spike protein has the unique ability to bind to and infect humans. “
American physicist Richard Muller has said that the composition of Covid is a “fingerprint of genetic manipulation”.
“It’s like finding a fingerprint at a crime scene,” he said.
“If you recover a gun from a crime scene and locate a fingerprint, it’s not circumstantial evidence.
“This is irrefutable proof. The site of excision of the furin. . . The sequences where they blend in if you’re looking to attack humans, that’s the fingerprint. “
Many scientists and intelligence officials suspect that clumsy researchers in the lab accidentally spread Covid experiments with bat coronaviruses.
Even the FBI and the U. S. Department of EnergyNow that the Covid peak probably leaked from a lab in China.
E-mails received through U. S. Right to Know show how U. S. scientists gave the impression of covering up their plan to conduct high-risk coronavirus experiments in Wuhan with low-quality biosecurity measures.
The Sun also revealed that US government health officials deliberately downplayed a lab leak as the most likely cause of the pandemic.
Over the summer, reports suggested that U. S. spies were investigating whether Covid was created by a Chinese military scientist before it leaked from a Wuhan lab.
Zhou Yusen, who worked for the People’s Liberation Army, filed a patent for a Covid vaccine before the pandemic was declared and died mysteriously a few weeks later.
This followed a secret memo revealing that China had ordered scientists to destroy all early coronavirus samples from its labs two days after the world first learned about Covid.
