The Hydeout Festival in Singapore canceled its opening this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement posted on their official website, the organizers showed the resolution of canceling the first occasion “with great regret”.
The festival, which was originally scheduled to take place over two weekends in April and October, had hired a large number of hip-hop, pop and electronic artists. A $ AP Rocky, Alison Wonderland, DJ Snake, Gucci Mane and Rita Ora, among other notable names, were going to play. See the list of applicants below.

“The resolution to postpone the festival comes after a careful evaluation of preventive interventions advised through foreign fitness authorities, as well as consultations with partners, artists, dealers and pass holders,” the organizers said.
They added: “While we perceive that many of you will be disappointed by the news of the postponement, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and reiterate our commitment to making Hydeout an iconic music platform.”
The realization also refers to an upcoming virtual event. “We tirelessly painted 24 hours a day with some of the biggest minds in the area of virtual truth to offer enthusiasts a virtual paradise that has never been seen before,” he reads.
Organizers also say that all priced ticket holders would get a full refund and be contacted by email.
