SINGAPORE: From 1 September, some Singaporean travellers from Brunei and New Zealand will be asked to serve an ice cream at home, but they will pass a COVID-19 check on arrival, the Ministry of Health (MOH) (21 August) said Friday.
At the same time, Singapore will update its account for others who wish to stop in those countries. According to existing law, citizens are requested to de differentiate all foreign travel, with the exception of a compulsory business and an official under the arrangements of green lanes and fast lanes.
The bill will be updated to allow Brunei and New Zealand in general, the Ministry of Health said Friday. People visiting these two countries are requested to verify the access needs imposed through the respective governments, as well as to take the necessary precautions.
Lawrence Wong, co-chair of the co-ministerial execution group COVID-19, said at a press convention on Friday that the agreements with Brunei and New Zealand are reciprocal, but that discussions with the two countries are ongoing.
“When we are in a position with the reciprocal greenway agreements with those two countries, we will release the details,” he said.
“Specifically for those two countries, we act on evidence, based on our assessment,” he added.
The notice will also be updated to allow academics seeking college degrees abroad to study, if distance education is not an option.
“When traveling abroad, travelers take all mandatory precautions, practice smart non-public hygiene, monitor local advances and heed local authorities’ recommendations,” the Ministry of Health said.
Health Minister Gan Kim Yong suggested to those who are making plans to plan ahead.
“Don’t just get on the plane and get out. Meet the needs of destination countries, make sure you meet the needs before you fly.
“At the same time you’re there, stay alert, keep exercising distance, and also practice distance regulations in those countries, to protect yourself and others,” he added.
Those who comply with travel warnings will be eligible for government grants and the MediShield Life and Integrated Shield Plan policy for their COVID-19 remedy if they expand symptoms within 14 days of returning to Singapore and will have to be hospitalized for suspected infection, the Ministry of Health said. .
Singaporeans and Singaporeans are asked to differ the rest of the foreign bureaucracy, the Ministry of Health added.
BRUNEI, NEW ZEALAND TRAVELERS TESTED ON ARRIVAL
As of June 18, travelers from low-risk countries and regions (Australia (excluding Victoria), Brunei Darussalam, Macau, mainland China, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam) can make their 14-day stay. at home in your own position of residence.

Visitors from either country will want to request an air pass between seven and 30 days before the scheduled date of access to Singapore. They can apply for the pass from September 1, and from September 8.

Returning Singaporeans, permanent citizens and long-term pass holders will not have to comply with the obligation to stay home and will be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival. They don’t want to order the Air Pass.
“We have monitored the scenario and evaluated that there are several countries/regions where the viral scenario is well controlled and the import threat is low. We will update our border measures accordingly,” the Ministry of Health said.

SHORTEST STAY NOTICE FOR SOME TRAVELERS

“There are other low-risk countries or regions where it may not be necessary to stay at home either. But as a precaution, we will remain aware of staying at home for the time being,” the Ministry of Health said.
Existing conditions, in addition to meeting the needs of the house and the application for proper approval prior to entering Singapore, continue to apply.
Those who point out such notices are reminded to use only the permitted shipping methods and to take public transport.
“All travellers will be subject to the measures at the border in force upon entry, adding the payment for their committed services and evidence, if any,” the Ministry of Health said.
