Singapore to Lift Indoor Mask Wearing Regulations as Covid Cases Ease

Singapore will lift regulations on wearing masks indoors in maximum spaces and facilitate quarantines for unvaccinated travelers, as the country enforces some of its latest pandemic-era restrictions after covid infections plummeted.

The indoor mask will no longer be mandatory from Aug. 29, unless in certain spaces, such as public shipping and fitness services, such as hospitals and nursing homes, the fitness ministry said Wednesday.
