Sica America moves to a site

Norcross, Georgia – Sica America Corp. se is moving to a larger plant in Norcoss, as it marks five years of appliance promotion for the production of plastic pipes in North America.

Sica SpA’s subsidiary, founded in Alfonsine, Italy, added a device demonstration domain and gained dominance for the additional spare parts garage at the new site approximately 15 minutes north of Atlanta.

Sica offers saws, presses, slot machines, threads, benders, conditioners, coils and automation and auxiliary devices for pipe extruders.

Stock accumulation will allow Sica America to reduce reaction time to consumers in the United States and Canada. The site will also provide a new spare parts portal created to temporarily identify what you want to order. The portal a database of Sica machines and interactive spare parts diagrams, as well as manuals, drawings and a link to request quotes from parts.

In addition, Sica North America recently hired technician Sam Gjorven, who maintained and commissioned plumbing machines around the world for 18 years. He recently found he is in Italy to complete his education on the full range of Sica products. He will enroll in Matt Mattiaccio, a 10-year Sica Worker, and Orlando Martinez, Sica America’s leading operating officer who has more than 23 years of experience in the plastic extrusion industry for the North and South American markets.

In a consumer note related to the new facility in Georgia, Martinez says his team is able to collaborate on pipeline production projects and show their generation at the Orlando County Convention Center from May 17 to 21, 2020.

“We looked towards NPE 2021 in Orlando, Florida, if COVID allows it, to showcase our new technologies and machines in our booth,” Martinez wrote.
