Senior UAE NCEMA receives first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

The United Arab Emirates recorded 1,315 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus on 13 October, marking its greatest accumulation of new infections.

The Director-General of the National Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, won the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

“According to the leaders’ vision, the availability of this effective vaccine will help save and protect lives,” he added.

The United Arab Emirates is legal to use the vaccine as a component of the country’s measures to ensure that fitness personnel are in close contact with Covid-19 patients and ensure their safety, official WAM news firm reported.

Several fitness officials in the UAE won their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine last month. This includes Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Deputy Undersecretary of the Hospital Sector and Managing Director of Emirates Health Services Corporation; Dr. Hussein Abdel Rahman Al-Rand, undersecretary of the ministry’s fitness assistants, fitness centres and clinics sector; and Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, deputy undersecretary of the facilities sector, have recently won the vaccine.

This was preceded by the Minister of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates, Abdul Rahman Al Owais, who won the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

The registered group of infections amounted to 108,608, of which 448 others died from the virus.
