Security Guards Arrest Man for Issuing COVID-19 Vaccination Cards

The workers’ security body in Abuja arrested an ad hoc member at a COVID-19 vaccination centre for issuing fake vaccination cards to some foreign travellers.

This was revealed on Monday by the head of public relations of the National Agency for the Development of Primary Health Care (NPHCDA), Mal Mohammad Ohitoto.

The suspect, Dauda Abu-Huraira, before his arrest, a tape recorder at the COVID-19 vaccination site of Wuse General Hospital, Abuja.

Abu-Huraira continued to charge consumers a payment and issue them fake cards without going through the vaccination process.

However, unbeknownst to the suspect, the NPHDA has established an infallible and foolproof formula that is almost insurmountable, Ohitoto said.

“The executive director of the National Agency for the Development of Primary Health Care, Dr Faisal Shuaib, warned that the mechanisms are in a firm position to arrest all those involved in issuing fake COVID-19 vaccination cards across Nigeria and prosecute them. ,” the saying.

According to him, Shuaib praised the country’s security worker corps for acting so professionally in arresting the suspect.

The NPHCDA chief also praised Port Fitness for its collaboration in those efforts.

Ohitot said some culprits had been arrested in the afterlife in connection with the crime and were already the consequences of their actions.

He asked other people to refrain from obtaining fake cards without going through the vaccination process, in their own interest.
