NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi met with the leaders of saudi major company ACWA Power, Kazinform reports.
A delegation of the Saudi corporate scale in Kazakhstan as part of the agreements reached on the recent stopover of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Saudi Arabia, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, Mukhtar Tileuberdi noted the growing interest of the global grid in renewable energy resources and the willingness of the Kazakh side to provide comprehensive assistance to Saudi society in the implementation of the projects.
During the visit, ACWA Power representatives conducted negotiations with senior officials from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy, Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund and Astana International Financial Center to discuss investment projects in detail.
ACWA Power, with an investment portfolio of nearly $70 billion, specializes in bringing together special services for green energy production and water desalination.
Power plants that generate solar, geothermal and wind power, as well as recycling waste into energy, now operate effectively in thirteen countries, in addition to the Middle East, North Africa, South Africa and Southeast Asia regions.
