Dubai: Saudi Arabia has detected 1,573 new cases of coronavirus, 1,890 additional recoveries and 21 more deaths in the past 24 hours, marking the lowest number of infections and deaths in a day in recent weeks, the Ministry of Fitness announced Saturday.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 infections, cures and deaths shown by the virus in the Kingdom to 277,478, 237,548 and 2,887, respectively. The number of active instances in the Kingdom has lately amounts to 37,043, of which 2,016 are in condition.
According to the ministry, no cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported at sacred sites.
Infections were reported in Riyadh with 102 new cases, followed by the city of Mecca with 89 and Dammam with 72 cases.
Coronavirus recovery exceeded 85.6% for the first time in the Kingdom.
The ministry made it clear that only Riyadh had recorded more than a hundred cases, while the rest of the cities and regions reported cases of less than a hundred, in a promising result of their harsh paintings to involve the spread of the virus.
