Dubai: Saudi Arabia reported 1389 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases shown from COVID-19 in the Kingdom to 282,824, according to a Ministry of Health report.
The ministry also announced 36 more deaths due to headaches caused by the fatal virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 3020.
In addition, another 1626 patients have fully recovered, bringing the total number of cured cases in the Kingdom to 245,314. The recovery rate above 86.74%. The ministry conducted 52,099 PCR tests in more than 24 hours.
Riyadh recorded the highest number of cases reported daily with 109, followed by Mecca with 106 and Khamis Mushait. The remaining cases have been detected in other cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
There are 34,490 active cases, 1,991 critical intensive care patients.
