Saudi Arabia reports 1,213 new coVID-19 instances, lowest figures in nearly 4 months

Dubai: Saudi Arabia announced on Friday 1213 new cases of coronavirus, marking the kingdom’s lowest numbers in nearly 4 months, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also announced 32 more deaths, bringing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 305,186 and virus-like deaths to 3,580.

According to the ministry, a total of 1,591 more patients have fully recovered from the fatal disease, bringing the total number of cures to 277,067.

Among the new cases, hail and Mecca recorded the number of new infections with 77, while Medina reported 73, Jazan 60, Tabuk 52, Riyadh 43 and Jeddah 39.

Lately there are 24,539 active cases, and 1,675 of them are in critical condition, while the healing rate in the Kingdom has reached 90.9%.
