Dubai: Saudi Arabia is backing the Global Pandemic Fund with $50 million to boost pandemic prevention efforts, the Saudi Press Agency said on Wednesday.
The Kingdom has announced that it will assist global efforts in the fight against pandemics. This donation follows efforts mobilized following the Group of 20 Nations (G20) announcement to raise $1. 4 billion for a pandemic fitness fund to help prevent a repeat of the COVID-19 effect that has hit the world.
