Saudi Arabia 3-hour deadline for the first batch of Umrah

Cairo: Saudi Arabia must begin the slow resumption of Umrah next Sunday when the first group of pilgrims arrive at the Grand Mosque in Mecca at midnight, a press report said Tuesday.

The duration of the first batch will be 3 hours, ending at 3 a. m. , with a number of precautions opposite those of COVID-19, adding respect for social estating, Okaz said online.

Last week, the Saudi government unveiled a plan to retake the Umrah and make a stopover at the two sacred mosques in Mecca and Medina starting next month.

Saudis and foreign citizens of the kingdom will be allowed the first from Four October to practice Umra at a capacity of 30% amid strict fitness precautions.

Muslims abroad will be allowed to go to Saudi Arabia to practice Umrah from 1 November.

The front of pilgrims to the saint is regulated through the application “I’tamarna” (we made the Umra). The application has established 4 meeting numbers for the first batch to be transported on buses from the organization to the Grand Mosque.

Each organization will be accompanied by a fitness partner and an animator ensuring full compliance with precautions by adding the mandatory mask costume to the ritual.
