Contacts are being slain at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert after a worker tested positive for the new coronavirus.
“Public fitness pictures are greatly affected by corrections and the user who has been in pictures before they have become symptomatic,” said Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan’s medical director of health.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) stated that the worker who has recently isolates himself in his home has had no contact with the inmates.
To date, no inmate at saskatchewan federal prison facilities has tested the virus.
The facility is locked and still receives visitors, CSC says.
However, the number of workers had to be reduced due to a shortage similar to the self-de-aissing of dozens of workers.

“The site has been flexible and some have worked long hours to meet the operational needs of facility management,” csc said.
All workers entering the offender are screened for the new coronavirus, CSC says. In addition, all workers receive non-public protective equipment, adding non-medical masks.
“We continue to teach COVID-19 inmates and workers, adding prevention measures, how to recognize symptoms and protocols to follow. We also have more cleaning and disinfection at the sites. “
CSC says it has aptitude in its Saskatchewan prisons and amenities to monitor and treat inmates as needed.
To date, 70 inmates at the saskatchewan Federal Correctional Facility have been reviewed by the new coronavirus. The result of one check is pending, while the others have been negative.
In addition, no prisoner of the provincial prison facilities was tested for the virus, confirmed by a spokesman for the Ministry of Justice.
In Canada, 360 federal inmates COVID-19, according to CSC, of these, two inmates died from COVID-19, while the remaining 358 recovered.
