San Mateo County reports 26 new cases of coronavirus, with no deaths

SAN MATEO COUNTY, California – San Mateo County Health reported 26 more cases of coronavirus on Monday.

The most recent raises the county-entire case to 9,897.

The county reported no more coronavirus-related deaths on Monday, leaving its death toll at COVID-19 at 150.

There were 29 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in San Mateo County on Monday, of whom they were being treated in extensive care units.

Elsewhere in the Bay Area and beyond, San Mateo County will offer 3 days of COVID-19 loose at two locations in Daly City Monday through Wednesday, Supervisor David Canepa said Sunday.

Monday cell tests will be conducted through Verily at Serramonte High School, 699 Serramonte Blvd, 9 a. m. p. m.

Testing will be conducted with young people age five and over on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of a collaboration with Daly City Partnership on the corner of Southgate Avenue and Lake Merced Boulevard (parking next to the Burlington Coat Factory closed with 99 Southgate Ave. ) between 11:30 am and 7:30 pm

The GLBT Historical Society Museum in San Francisco’s Castro community announced Monday that it would reopen later this week after being closed for more than six months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The museum, which is the country’s first independent museum for LGBTQ history, is expected to reopen Thursday for members and reopen to the public on Saturday.

Going forward, the museum will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p. m. , the museum said.

There were 811,751 cases shown of COVID-19 and 15,627 coronavirus-related deaths in California through Monday afternoon, according to knowledge from Johns Hopkins University.

7,143,521 COVID-19s were shown in the United States and 205,003 coronavirus-related deaths were shown Monday afternoon.

There were 33,238,168 coVID-19 and 999,667 international deaths on Monday afternoon.
