SAN YSIDRO, California (KGTV) – San Diego County will install a coronavirus control at one of the world’s busiest border crossings.
County administrator Greg Cox said Wednesday that control would take place at the PedWest junction at San Ysidro’s port of entry and that about two hundred checks a day would be carried out.
The check will be used for a must-have staff entering the U.S. From Mexico and returning to U.S. citizens. The walk-in will also be walk-in.
PedWest serves pedestrians between Tijuana and San Diego.
