Miyazaki – Sadaharu Oh, Japanese baseball leader and president of the Pacific League’s Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, has been hospitalized as a precaution due to the coronavirus, the club announced Friday.
Oh was admitted to a hospital in Miyazaki prefecture in southwestern Japan, where the Hawks are recently holding their fall minicamp. The 82-year-old complained of fever and sore throat.
