EXCLUSIVE: Saban Films has acquired the U. S. and Canadian rights to the action film The Ambush from AGC International and Image Nation Abu Dhabi and has set an October deadline for the Emirati production marking its first acquisition in a non-English language.

Saban Films is making plans for a theatrical release on Oct. 28, ahead of an on-demand virtual release on Nov. 1.
Based on a real-life event, the drama revolves around a bold project to rescue 3 UAE infantrymen after their armored vehicle attacked through heavy enemy fire and they found themselves trapped in an isolated cannon.
