Iran’s Defense Ministry announced that its air defense teams had repelled a drone attack on an army workshop in the central city of Isfahan.
The ministry made the announcement in the early hours of Sunday after an explosion was reported at one of Isfahan’s defense industry complexes on Saturday night, Press TV reported.
The ministry said the failed attack caused no loss of life and caused minor damage to the roof of a workshop. The complex, he added, continues normal operations after the attack.
“This cowardly act was committed today as part of the efforts made through the enemies of the Iranian country in recent months to make the Islamic Republic unsafe,” Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian said in a meeting with his Qatari counterpart.
