MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia has approved the sale of a 27. 5% stake in Sakhalin Energy to an entity called the Sakhalin Project for 94. 8 billion rubles ($1. 03 billion), according to an order published on Monday.

According to company documents, Sakhalin’s property is owned exclusively by Gazprom ($1 = 92. 4750 rubles).
