Russian AWACS plane arrives in Belarus to aim

A long-range radar detection and a Russian Armed Forces aircraft arrived in Belarus; It is designed to track air and surface targets.

Quote: “The Il-76 A-50U Sergey Atayants with registration number RF-93966, an aircraft and long-range radar detection, arrived in Belarus:”.

Details: Landed at Machulishchy Airfield in Minsk Oblast at approximately 2:27 p. m. m. Kyoto time.

An A-50 with the same registration number was reportedly spotted in Belarus in February 2022.

On July 11, 2022, such a radar detection and an aircraft with another registration number were detected in the skies of Belarus.

Background: On the thirteenth of December, Belarus began to check the combat readiness of its army on the orders of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko; Belarus is also bringing part of its military apparatus closer to the border with Ukraine.
