MOSCOW – Russia sent a first batch of its Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine to Belarus for clinical trials, the first such delivery abroad, the Russian sovereign fund RDIF announced on Monday.
Volunteers in Belarus would begin receiving the Russian vaccine from 1 October, said the Russian Direct Investment Fund, which supports the vaccine developer (report via Maria Kannedova and Polina Ivanova; written through Tom Balmforth; edited through Alex Richardson).
