Russia says it has registered a COVID-19 vaccine, which runs in a third

October 14 (UPI) – The Russian government on Wednesday announced the registration of a momentary COVID-19 vaccine and said a third vaccine is being developed.

“I would like to start with smart news that the Novosibirsk-based Vector Center has recorded a time when the Russian vaccine is opposed to the EpiVacCorona coronavirus,” Putin said in a report through the official Tass news agency.

“As I know, we have a third candidate vaccine from the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. “

Russia said this week that complex clinical trials of its first vaccine, Sputnik V, had begun in the United Arab Emirates. The Russian Direct Investment Fund said the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health will oversee the trials.

Russia announced the Sputnik vaccine in August and received a wave of skepticism in the clinical network because it had not yet participated in complex trials.

Russia reported more than 14,000 new cases wednesday, its highest number to date.
