This is the highest since March 21, when 28,709 coronavirus patients were identified. The total number of cases has reached 18,824,282 since the beginning of the pandemic.
At least another 2,619 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, up 3. 7% from the previous day. Hospitalizations increased in 41 regions of the country and decreased in 39 regions.
COVID-19 in Moscow rose from 7,381 in the last day to 2,892,603, coronavirus in St. Petersburg rose from 3,229 to 1,581,838.
