MOSCOW. KAZINFORM – The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia increased from 13,970 in the last day to 21,232,963, the coronavirus crisis reported on Tuesday, TASS reports.
This is the lowest level since August 3, when 14,638 instances were recorded. A day earlier, 15,661 instances were registered.
Up to 2,506 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia on the last day, up 246. 1% from the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in five regions, while in 78 regions the number increased. The scenario remained unchanged in two other regions. The day before, another 724 people were taken to hospitals.
COVID-19 cases in Moscow rose 880 in the last day from 887 cases the previous day, achieving 3,213,628 since the pandemic began, to the coronavirus crisis center. COVID-19 cases in St. Petersburg rose to 1,232 in the last day from 1,216 a day earlier, achieving 1,773,325.

COVID-19 recoveries in Russia surpassed 31,509 in the past day, reaching 20,470,552, the coronavirus crisis center said Tuesday.
A day earlier, some 24,819 had recovered.
