MOSCOW. KAZINFORM – The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia rose from 7,849 in the last day to 21,402,209, the coronavirus crisis reported on Thursday, TASS reports.
A day earlier, 7,518 instances were registered.
Up to 1,316 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia on the last day, down 9. 3% from the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in 46 regions, while in 33 regions the number increased. The scenario remained unchanged in six regions. A day earlier, another 1,451 people were taken to hospitals.
COVID-19 cases in Moscow rose 928 in the last day from 1,039 cases the previous day, achieving 3,228,037, to the coronavirus crisis center. COVID-19 cases in St. Petersburg rose to 468 in the last day from 471 the previous day, reaching 1,784,024.

COVID-19 recoveries in Russia topped 12,040 in the past day, reaching 20,763,904, the coronavirus crisis center said Thursday.
A day earlier, some 11,517 had recovered.
