Russia records 15,661 COVID-19 cases, new low since Aug. 3: crisis center

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM – The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia increased from 15,661 in the last day to 21,218,993, the coronavirus crisis reported on Monday, TASS reports.

In absolute terms, the number of COVID cases is the lowest since August 3, when 14,638 cases were recorded. A day earlier, 18,819 cases were recorded.

No fewer than 724 other people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia on the last day, down 28. 8% from the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in 51 regions, while in 23 regions the number increased. The scenario remained unchanged in 11 regions.
