Roy Green: What are COVID-19 numbers like from China?

According to the Worldometer website, international coronavirus instances amounted to 32. 5 million on Friday morning, COVID-19 deaths were around 989,000 and there were about 7. 5 million active cases, while another 24 million people were indexed as cured.

It also lists individual countries, detailing their number of COVID-19 cases, adding the total number of cases, new cases, general deaths, new deaths, general recoveries and active cases.

This is done in descending order, and the country that records the number of coronavirus cases is the United States with a population of 331. 5 million and a total number of Worldometer COVID-19 cases of about 7. 2 million, adding deaths by around 208000.

China, on the other hand, with a population of 1. 44 billion and where the coronavirus pandemic has begun, is 43rd on the list of countries with just over 85,000 cases overall and around 4600 registered deaths.

Canada, with a national population of 37. 8 million, a fraction of China’s, is on the list of nations with around 150,000 cases and 9,250 deaths.

Take a few more steps and you’ll find that the mix of the populations of the five nations that top China on the COVID-19 list of nations (Kuwait, Oman, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and Guatemala) represents about 47. 5 million.

However, Kuwait, with its small national population of 4. 3 million, records its general case of COVID-19 at more than 102,000, 17,000 more than China with its population of 1. 44 billion.

I have been following and tweeting about these numerical disparities for a few weeks and recommend that, officially, I be able to consult the Beijing reports.

When asked about China’s knowledge earlier this year, Health Minister Patty Hajdu said she had asked about the fed “conspiracy theories. “

Given Hajdu’s reaction when China’s moves in the early months of the pandemic were questioned, it should be clarified that this observation is not conspiratorial in nature.
