Rita Panahi denounces Tennis Australia for LGBT activism despite Emirates sponsorship

Sky News presenter Rita Panahi has criticised Tennis Australia for opting to create a two-day event aimed at promoting LGBT activism to celebrate Australia Day, while it was sponsored by the UAE-owned Emirates.

“Apparently that movement doesn’t have enough visibility,” Ms Panahi said.

“Yes, Tennis Australia cares about the LGBT community, unless they have partnered with Emirates for the tenth year in a row.

“It is believed to be the state-owned airline of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where homosexuality is a crime punishable by imprisonment, beatings, chemical castration and even death under Sharia law. “
