He continued, “Jason Boles is not just a MAGA supporter. He also led the super PAC for MAGA Republicans Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, George Santos, and in 2022 endorsed Herschel Walker. Therefore, the user Mr. Kennedy is a user who needs the Republican Party to succeed in the professional aspect and in the user. Yet Mr. Kennedy presents himself as a Democrat. “

RFK Jr. , who had time to respond through Republican Rep. Greg Steube of Florida immediately afterward, said he was not familiar with the Super PAC Plaskett was referring to.

“I’ve heard of Mr. Boles and I’ve heard of this super PAC,” RFK Jr. said.

At the beginning of the debate, after her opening remarks, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida proposed holding the hearing in an executive consultation to talk about RFK Jr. ‘s alleged violation of a House rule to prohibit testimony that defames or degrades others.

Wasserman Schultz said the witness had made “despicable” anti-Semitic and anti-Asian comments in recent days, referring to his comment that COVID-19 might have been “an ethnic target” because those most immune to COVID appear to be Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese. RFK Jr. later said he did not accuse anyone of intentionally engineering COVID to save certain ethnic populations.

Wasserman Schultz’s resolution to skip the hearing and move to executive consultation was defeated, 10-8, thanks to the Republican majority on the committee. Some Democrats made “no to hate speech” comments as they voted against GOP pressure to eliminate Wasserman Schultz’s motion.
