Revera commits ongoing with Habitat for Humanity Canada

Mississauga, Ontario, September 2, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – As Canadians continue to navigate the ‘new normal’ of living through a pandemic, Revera is determined to continue helping his selected charity, Habitat for Humanity Canada, as well. as with its social cause of choice: the fight against age discrimination, through the intergenerational film “Revera and Reel Youth Age is More”. Before the pandemic was declared, Revera had secured several corporate sponsorships for the Revera Giving 2020 program, which aims to help families across Canada access affordable housing. Like Habitat, Revera believes that everyone deserves a decent and affordable position to call home. However, due to the pandemic, Revera was forced to postpone her two annual gala fundraisers until 2021. Despite this, Revera continued to paint heavily with each of her corporate backers, adding generosity. And continued help resulted in a $ 100,000 sponsorship withholding! Revera would like to thank each of the backers who added Acclaim Ability Management, Achieva Health, Chaitons LLP, Foley & Lardner LLP, Hexarem, Interface, Manulife, Medline Canada, Mercer, Naylor Building Partnerships, New-Can Group, Reuters Benefits, Russell Hendrix and Toppits. “In fact, we are grateful to each and every sponsor they have selected to help Habitat for Humanity Canada,” said Thomas Wellner, President and CEO of Revera. “This year has been difficult for companies and the charity sector has been particularly affected. We are grateful that our sponsors express our preference for helping Habitat for Humanity and the Canadian families they can help. “This pandemic has been a difficult time for many charities. It is glorious to have constituents like Revera and her corporate sponsors continue to help Habitat for Humanity Canada, ”said Julia Deans, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada. “Since 2018, we have developed a strong component relationship with Revera, and their efforts this year have indeed demonstrated their commitment to our vision of a global world where everyone has a decent position to live. Although many classic fundraising systems have been stopped due to COVID-19’s physical distancing restrictions, Revera continues to come up with new and cutting-edge tactics to increase the budget by combining other systems to maximize their impact. On October 1, Revera will host its first Age Is More virtual cinema gala, in collaboration with Reel Youth and in aid of Habitat for Humanity Canada. The occasion will feature nine new short films developed as components of The Revera and Reel Youth Age is More Film Project on Revera’s Facebook page. Revera generally holds four Reel Youth gala premieres each year at retirement homes. This year, we organized two galas before the pandemic was declared. The upcoming virtual gala is a national initiative featuring the citizens of 3 Revera’s retirement apartments in Ontario and Alberta in films produced by young people from British Columbia to New Brunswick. Those who view the gala online will have the opportunity to help Habitat for Humanity Canada through Revera’s online donation page. Revera and Habitat for Humanity Canada Revera has been a component of Habitat for Humanity Canada since 2018, and at that time, more than $ 1 million was raised and donated to communities across Canada. These budgets equal more than $ four million in benefits for painters and were raised through corporate sponsorships, Revera home and apartment fundraisers, more than four days of Revera sponsored habitat building, and donations to ReStore.
