PUERTO PRINCESA CITY—Palawan’s list of COVID-19 cases has grown to 67 after two stranded persons returning to their hometowns in the province tested positive for SARS Cov2, the coronavirus that causes the disease.

The woman who completed her 14-day quarantine as a blocked user when she tested positive for antibodies to the coronavirus on July 18, which led the fitness government to undergo a more complete check that showed her infection on Wednesday (July 22).

In the city of Sofronio Española, the 27-year-old mother of a 5-year-old inflamed woman also tested positive for coronavirus.

Dr. Rhodora Tingson, the city’s fitness officer, said in a phone interview that the mother was the last COVID-19 patient in town.

The woman and her circle of relatives arrived in a 2GB shipment on July 12. The husband of the 32-year-old woman and daughter had symptoms of COVID-19 and tested positive last Sunday (July 19).

The family of three are now isolated in a quarantine facility.

The new instances brought the province’s total to 67 with forty-five recoveries and one death.
