GREENFIELD, WI — According to City of Greenfield documents, a new dining place offering Mexican-American cuisine is proposed for the former Carl’s Catering site.
The location at 5510 West Loomis Road would serve as a full-service dining spot with more dining and entertainment in the future, though there are no plans to open immediately. foot of building, according to municipal documents.
The Greenfield Plan Commission approved an initial plan and landscaping plan for the company on Nov. 8, and members said more adjustments may require further approval. The common council is scheduled to review the plan and landscaping of the proposal on Tuesday.
A representative for the buyer, Jan Kadow of Anderson Commercial Group, told Planning Commission members on Nov. 8 that the goal is to transform the building and climb 2,000 feet to the current ground. The current floor could have a bar with outdoor seating, Kadow said. In the future, phase two would be a banquet hall, Kadow noted.
