Report: Kenny Albert blocked from FOX NFL broadcast due to COVID-19 protocol

In a series of events something, Kenny Albert might not be able to call his NFL game Week 1 due to COVID-19 protocols.

Albert called the NHL games for NBC on the league’s website in Edmonton; however, NFL regulations stipulate that anyone traveling to the United States from a foreign country will have to be quarantined for two weeks. According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Albert will be not exempt from this rule even though he worked in an environment and was examined several times a week in accordance with NHL guidelines.

Albert was scheduled to paint Sunday’s game between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions, but Dick Stockton would take his place.

Rules are rules, but Albert painted in one of the safest environments he can conceive of. It also means that Jonathan Vilma, who will do his FOX deyet, will run with a wife he didn’t expect to paint with.
