A Ukrainian leader who blamed gay marriage for spreading coronavirus tested positive for Covid-19.
Patriarch Filaret, 91, who leads one of Ukraine’s Orthodox congregations, is in hospital and in a solid state after being diagnosed with the disease after regimen testing.
Filaret also developed pneumonia, according to Ukrainian news 112. international.
The patriarch’s diagnosis was shown Friday in a Facebook post.

“We informed you that during the planned trials, His Holiness Patriarch Filaret of Kiev and all of Russia-Ukraine tested positive in Covid 19. Now His Holiness the Bishop is being treated in a hospital,” he said.
Filaret is one of Ukraine’s most devoted leaders and claims to have 15 million fans among its 42 million inhabitants.
