Negative COVID passenger verification reports from 4 Indian laboratories will be rejected, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) told Air India Express on Monday.
The laboratories are Suryam Lab in Jaipur, Microhealth Lab in the cities of Kerala, Dr. P Bhasin Pathlabs (Private) Limited and Noble Diagnostic Center in Delhi, the airline on Twitter.
On September 18, Air India Express flights were suspended for 24 hours via DCAA for bringing two COVID-certified passengers on August 28 and September 4.
According to UAE rules, passengers travelling from India must bring an original negative COVID certificate of RT-PCR tests conducted within 96 hours of travel.
Air India Express tweeted, claiming that the Dubai regulator had it “reject RT-PCR verification reports from the following laboratories for passengers traveling to Dubai: Suryam Lab in Jaipur; Microhealth Lab in the cities of Kerala. Dr. P Bhasin Pathlabs (P) Ltd in Delhi; Noble Diagnostic Center in Delhi. “
Scheduled flights have been suspended in India since 23 March due to COVID-19.

However, special flights of foreign passengers have been operating in the country as a component of the Vande Bharat project since May and bilateral air bubble agreements with other countries since July.
The United Arab Emirates is one of 10 countries with which India has bilateral air bubble pacts. Under such a pact, airlines from both countries would possibly operate foreign passenger flights with certain restrictions.
